Fun activities for all the family to share

 As this is a new and uncertain time for all, we have created some fun life experiences that we believe that every child should experience and will remember for life and ones which you can experience as a family. We would love to see photographs of your child as they are completing each activity when they return to school. Everyone at Warren Junior School wishes you well and hope you take every opportunity to enjoy this time as a family.

 

 

Know your full name, date of birth and address.

Bake a cake/ cupcakes.

Plan a Holiday.

Where? How will you get there? Where will you stay? What will it cost?

Host a picnic.

Host a picnic in the garden with your family.

 

Use the dishwasher/ do the washing up.

 

Make a bug home.

Be a weather reporter.

You can even be a weather reporter for the week and write down the weather for each day

Learn your name in sign language.

Show an understanding of what to do in an emergency situation.

Go bird watching in the garden or from a window.

Try a new way to keep fit

Help with the cooking

Be a photographer.

Use a camera and take photos of your walk or when playing in the garden.

Plant it, grow it, eat it

Identify British coins and notes.

Set the table for dinner and be a waiter/waitress for your family.

Find the name and contact of your local MP and write a letter about something you’re passionate about.

Ask your parents what they plan to cook and write down the ingredients they will need.

Sew on a button.

Be able to greet someone in different languages

Change the toilet roll each time it runs out.
