The Thrive Approach
Dear Parents/Carers,
At Warren Junior, you will no doubt be aware, that we have been using The Thrive Approach, to plan our Wellbeing curriculum; adapt our teaching, to best meet the needs of our pupils and help them to become more emotionally resilient. Together our aim is to support the development of confident, curious, creative and capable children.
During these uncertain and challenging of times, working towards the achievement of these aims is even more important. We want our pupils to be able to cope with life’s ups and downs, therefore Thrive have drawn up weekly schedules of activities that you can use to support your children in adventurous and creative play. Please see the links to these plans below. As Thrive creates new plans we will update these too. These fun activities, which children may be familiar with, are sure to engage them, whilst helping to develop their ability to overcome safe challenges and experience new things – key features of healthy emotional development. We would encourage you to try out some of these activities with your children.
Stay safe and well!
Yours in Thrive,
Mrs. Taylor
